Arley House and Gardens, located in the heart of the Arley Estate in Worcestershire, is just a short walk from the expansive Arboretum. With its abundance of picturesque settings, Arley House has quickly become one of my favourite wedding venues.
Couples seeking an outdoor ceremony have several beautiful options. The white filigree pagoda, nestled in the gardens and overlooking the rear lawn, offers a romantic spot with the Barbican tower as a striking backdrop. Alternatively, the pagoda in the stunning Grade II-listed Italian Garden, with its dramatic fountains and lime tree avenues, exudes 15th-century Renaissance beauty. Arley Arboretum, one of the oldest in Britain, is home to over 300 species of trees, including the impressive Laburnum arch, providing an enchanting backdrop for photographs.
For those preferring an indoor ceremony, there is a choice between the contemporary Turner Suite and the bright, airy Valentia Suite. The Valentia Suite boasts long banks of windows and bi-folding doors that open onto a terrace, allowing guests to step out and enjoy drinks and canapés in the beautiful grounds. For couples desiring a traditional church ceremony, St. Peter’s Church, situated within the Arley Estate and just a short walk from the venue, offers a perfect setting for your vows. For guests wishing to stay overnight, The Grange, a beautifully converted Grade II-listed Georgian house, offers thirteen luxury bedrooms a few minutes’ walk into the village.
If you are having your wedding celebrations at Arley House, I’d love to capture your big day!
