Purpose-built wedding venue Foxtail Barns is set within the expansive 70-acre Consall Hall estate in Staffordshire. One of my favourite features of Foxtail Barns is the light-filled Orangery, where a glass roof and bi-folding windows seamlessly blend the indoors with the outdoors, creating a bright and airy space for couples to exchange their vows. Just outside the Orangery, the terrace and Walled Gardens provide an ideal setting for a drinks reception and canapés. The cast-iron Victorian pergola serves as a striking centrepiece and is perfect for group photographs.
The estate’s grounds are equally enchanting, with hidden woodlands, winding paths, serene lakes, and the stunning arched stone bridge—all offering breathtaking backdrops for portraits of the newlyweds. When it’s time to sit down for the wedding breakfast, the contemporary, double-height vaulted-ceiling party barn will surely impress your guests. Cascading foliage and striking festoon chandeliers adorn the ceiling, while expansive glazing offers serene views of the tranquil pond, providing a magical setting as day turns to night and the dancing begins.
For guests wishing to stay the night, Foxtail Barns offers twenty nature-inspired Woodland Pod lodges, as well as a secluded lodge reserved for the newlyweds. The neighbouring hotel, 'The Tawny,' is also just a few steps away from the barns.
Are you planning a Foxtail Barns wedding celebration? I’d love to hear from you!
