Robyn and Yasmin chose Netley Hall, near Shrewsbury, for their beautiful June wedding and had a fantastic day! Between these two lovely ladies they shared seven bridesmaids and maids of honour, so you would think that getting ready in the morning with so many women in one room (plus the mothers of both brides AND the hair and make-up artists) it would have been chaos and mayhem, but there was just a joyful calm!
Yasmin and Robyn opted for an elegant gold and navy colour scheme, with Robyn choosing a bridal gown with beautiful scrolling details around the neckline and bodice, and Yasmin opting for a checked navy suit and gold bowtie to complement the navy bridesmaids dresses. Yasmin’s mum helped her with put the finishing touches to her outfit, whilst some of the couple’s bridesmaids saw Robyn in her dress for the first time (and pulled lovely expressions of delight!). Then it was time for the big moment and Robyn was escorted down Netley Hall’s grand staircase by her father to meet Yasmin at the front of the aisle to exchange their vows.
After their wedding ceremony the couple were showered (very thoroughly!) with confetti and took the opportunity to mingle with guests on the venue’s lawn before taking a short stroll through the gardens for some portraits. The hydrangeas were in bloom, making a pretty backdrop, along with the lovely reflection pool (a personal favourite spot of mine for photos!), and we made a quick trip back to the hall itself to pose for some pictures on the staircase.
After a couple of emotional speeches where a few tears were shed, there was plenty of fun to be had with silly props at the gold-sequined photobooth before Yasmin and Robyn cut their beautiful marble-effect cake and shared their first dance, before being joined by family and friends on the dancefloor. A lovely day with a beautiful couple!
