Steph and Craig chose the beautiful Alrewas Hayes in Staffordshire for their June wedding, with their civil ceremony held in the light-filled Orangery. The couple’s sixth-month old son made his grand entrance into the ceremony in a remote-controlled Audi, ahead of his older sister, who did a fantastic job as flower girl and was sweetly escorted by the couple’s two page boys.
Bride Steph was given away by her grandfather, who made a touching speech later on at the reception, and who also brought tears to the eyes of a few guests in the evening when he shared a special dance with Steph.
After confetti had been thrown over the newlyweds, and the couple and their guests had enjoyed mingling in the sunshine in the courtyard, the lovely gardens provided a great backdrop for family photos, with the handsome brick house (home to the venue’s owners) providing a charming spot for a few portraits of Craig and Steph, framed wonderfully by the wisteria and roses around the doorway.
The celebration moved to the bright and airy Lakeside pavilion for the speeches and meal, and later on the dancing! We stole the couple away briefly after their first dance to grab a few more photos in the fields just beyond the lake in the gorgeous early-evening light, and also in the now-empty Orangery, as Steph had made a particular request for a twirly dance shot in their ceremony room, which showed off her dress beautifully!
