I had so much fun photographing Louise and Connor’s wedding! They chose The Mill in Stone, Staffordshire for their ceremony and reception and planned out a super day for their family and friends, with great live music, delicious food (so much food!), and a relaxed atmosphere - I felt like an honoured guest at this wedding as I was made so welcome by everyone. In addition Louise and Connor were not afraid to be a little silly in their portrait session, and quite happily climbed a fence with us (and navigated cowpats!) to get some fantastic outdoor shots. Thanks go out to bridesmaid Hayley for being an excellent dress-arranger and veil-wafter!
This wedding was packed with thoughtful little details, from the monogrammed tiepin gifted to the groom by his bride on the morning of their big day, to the personalised licence plate the groom bought for his beautiful bride to celebrate her taking his surname with their union, to the lovely handpainted placecards made for each guest (myself included!), and the many intricate origami cranes placed around the venue, sent by the groom’s sister who lives in Japan, and wanted to send the couple her wishes for luck, love and a long life as she was unable to join them to celebrate their wedding in person. It was an absolute pleasure to capture the details of Louise and Connor’s day and I hope they love their photos!
