Lovely couple Laura and Ansley chose a super intimate wedding ceremony with just two close friends in attendance as witnesses, and asked me to join them for a post-wedding photoshoot around Shrewsbury. I was so happy to photograph this couple in some of my favourite spots around our beautiful town - you might recognise local landmarks the Dingle and the Quarry, the characterful area around Bear Steps and St. Alkmunds, and the gorgeous architecture of Shrewsbury Castle and Laura’s Tower in my photographs.

This pair did an amazing job considering my focus was purely on the two of them, which is a daunting prospect, and having allocated plenty of time to visit multiple locations gave us the scope to build a beautiful gallery. We covered quite a lot of ground on our travels and the pair got quite a bit of attention from passers-by as we traversed the town centre, with many people voicing their congratulations and well wishes to the couple. Laura did an amazing job walking the distance we covered in both heels and her long train with zero complaints - what a star! Her dress had the most gorgeous beaded detail back in addition to the train that was crying out to be draped down the stairs at the aptly named Laura’s Tower in the grounds of the castle.

This was a bit of a different booking for me but I enjoyed it immensely and I am so pleased that Ansley and Laura put their trust in me as I LOVE their photos! If any other couples are considering a similar shoot, please get in touch!
