A bride and groom walk hand-in-hand through the walled gardens of wedding venue Combermere Abbey.

The beautiful Combermere Abbey, located near Whitchurch on the border of Shropshire and Cheshire, provided a fantastic backdrop for Sophie and Dean’s late April wedding.

The couple exchanged their vows in the light-filled Edwardian Glasshouse at the centre of the fruit-tree maze, with a wonderfully emotional self-penned reading from Sophie’s sister a highlight of the ceremony. The walled gardens provided a perfect spot for guests to mingle and nibble on canapes, and later on engage in some spirited games of croquet and giant Jenga in the sizzling Spring sunshine. The stag do lads also partook of a game of tossing Dean into the air, and managed to achieve some impressive height!

Following their wedding breakfast in the Pavillion, Sophie and Dean took a stroll down to the Abbey’s lake for a quiet wander between the willow trees lining the water.
